Born and raised in Germany, Sarah moved to Barcelona at the age of 15 and immersed herself in the fashion world. After several years of studying and working at various fashion houses, she decided to further hone her skills by pursuing a masters degree in fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. In 2003 with her education complete, she finally set off for her ultimate destination of New York.

After a period of splitting time between New York and Europe, working in the correspondence offices of German publications such as Elle, Madame, and Amica, Sarah began to focus more on styling and graphic work. 

In 2010, she founded kidswillout, a kidswear label that combined a contemporary and minimal aesthetic with structured patterns and high end, comfortable, and soft jersey fabrics. The label eventually ran its course, but Sarah continues to explore and experiment with design and creativity. To complete the circle, she moved to Berlin at the end of 2018.
